CHARLIE ROBERTSON
2013 marks Charlie’s debut season in single-seater racing following two very successful years in the highly competitive Ginetta Junior Championship, including winning the title in 2012. The Scottish teenager, now based in Surrey, began karting at the age of eight and quickly progressed winning the Scottish Open Cadet crown in 2006 and the Scottish ‘S’-plate Championship the following year. He spent three further years as a British karting title challenger before making his sports car debut in 2011 with the Ginetta Junior series - racing alongside the British Touring Car Championship. Despite being his first year, he became the youngest driver ever to win a MSA car race and finished as championship runner-up after collecting three wins, six further podiums and five pole positions. In 2012 he returned to the series with HHC motorsport where he secured the title with 12 pole positions and a total of 13 podiums, including six wins.
